The year 2021 was characterized by a large number of challenges and opportunities. We have been dealing with the pandemic and its new strains for almost two years, which have had a significant impact on all national and international scopes. Our close friends and families have also been affected and unfortunately, have lost loved ones, as well as employees of the institution who will leave an indelible mark on our hearts.

Regarding the economic outlook, we are going through several episodes that generated pressure on the growth rate of our country; nonetheless, we are optimistic that this can be reversed in the medium term to recover its dynamism.

For Grupo Financiero B×+, 2021 was the year to seek opportunities to meet our goals, with a clear path and getting closer to the targets we established in the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan.

It is noteworthy that, due to the mixed work schedules we implemented, working in the office or from home, we maintained the high standards of service to which our clients are accustomed; we continue to offer them the support they need always, providing certainty and security in their operations.

Thanks to the adoption of innovative measures, we proved we are able to maintain the growth rate that has characterized us since our inception and we have gone even further. We delivered sound results as a consequence of the commitment we have with our clients and it is the result of their dedication, steadfastness and professionalism.

Each Annual Report that we publish bears a significant motto, which represents the evolution in our history. We named this edition “With a Defined Course” since B×+ has a clear objective and a purpose that give meaning to the alignment of all our activities; that, despite any challenges, we never lose our path; it is a recognition to all of us who comprise this institution.

In 2022 we will materialize and capitalize on the opportunities that we have been sowing during 2021, so that, along with the best talent, our foundations and the proper tools, we will continue to grow with a defined path in the years to come.
