Three years after we launched our ambitious growth plan, we can look back proudly on the progress we’ve made toward our long-term goals.

Considering our achievements in the past three years, we’re on the right track: our credit portfolio has grown by 113% and our deposits by 144%, which means we have more than doubled the group’s size and value.

In the same period, our return on equity (RoE) grew by 125% and our profits are in line with what we planned in 2014, so we can state with satisfaction that we have met our goals.

We have the support of our team to thank for this success, and we have been fortunate to capitalize on their excellent capacities while recruiting new talent and helping them acquire the new skills needed to meet our clients’ needs.

At B×+, we want to transcend with our clients, employees and shareholders, offering innovative financial solutions that generate long-term relations, and more importantly, that enable us to generate growth and sustainable value.

In 2017 we celebrated the first anniversary of Seguros B×+. Our insurance company has already seen remarkable growth and a rising market share in life, major medical, and property insurance. In the process of integrating these operations, we upgraded customer service offices and hospital attention modules in the cities where we are present.

Based on our client-focused business model, we continued to develop new products and services that fortify our value proposition:

  • We launched a new version of B×+ Online Banking

  • We launched a B×+ Mobile Brokerage app for smartphones

  • We incorporated derivatives into our range of financial products

  • We participated in the Infonavit housing agency auction for second mortgages and the same agency’s “Mejoravit” auction for home improvement credits.


Internally, we began to re-engineer processes to improve client service, starting with the commercial credit process, and will continue in the coming year with leasing and account opening procedures.

We strengthened Data Security measures to guarantee the integrity of our operations and protect our clients’ equity.

Always doing the right thing is a non-negotiable commitment for B×+. To this end, we applied new Money-Laundering and Terrorism Financing prevention tools, and we remain at the forefront of our industry in these matters.

In 2017, B×+ dressed up, to sponsor once again the Top Chef Mexico competition, and witness the “Duel of the Chefs.” We also returned to the racetrack as sponsors of the Formula 4, accompanying the promising young driver Iñigo León in his debut in this category. We have high hopes for him in the coming year’s competition.

B×+ has garnered increasing attention in the specialized economics, finance and business media in recent years, and we are becoming a benchmark in the national and international sphere. We gave our first seminar on economic fundamentals for journalists, in an effort to increase the professionalism of news reporting and the information that reaches the public at large.
